- If a puppy dies of illness or congenital disease within 30 days of delivery, or if a congenital abnormality is found that interferes with daily life, we will provide a replacement dog.
- If the puppy dies despite prompt veterinary examination and treatment, please contact us within three days of confirmation of death.
- You must also contact us within 7 days of confirmation of death with the following documents:
- Original death certificate issued by the veterinarian who diagnosed the puppy in question
- A copy of the puppy sales contract given to you at the time of sale
- Certificate of vaccination against infectious diseases (original)
- Pedigree (not required if not received)
- The following cases are excluded:
- Deaths due to gross negligence or wilful misconduct of the breeder (e.g. missed blood sugar, insufficient water supply, insufficient feeding, failure to control temperature, over-playing, neglect, falls, bruises, etc., accidental ingestion, etc., death due to lack of control)
- Deaths due to failure to receive vaccination against contagious diseases
- Death if not treated by a veterinarian
- Accidental death, escape, theft or false declaration when making a warranty claim
- Resold or transferred
- In the case of death, burial or disposal without permission
